OVERVIEW
The area of Mission Creek is sacred to the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and this project aimed at restoring the area. Along with MnDOT and he Fond du Lac Band, Northland Constructors lead the project as the prime contractor. Through constant coordination with the project owner and all involved parties, diligent planning and execution, and excellent field leadership, this project was successful in its goal of restoring the land. As a company, Northland is extremely proud to have been a part of this successful project.
The overall scope of the project included removing existing blacktop, topsoil placement, turf establishment, a new dry stack stone wall, and planting of over 5,000 trees.
