OVERVIEW
The Thompson Hill Rest Area is one of the most scenic rest areas in Minnesota, offering stunning views of Lake Superior, Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin. When the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) designed the project, they went above and beyond a typical rest area with a special design.
The Thompson Hill Rest Area project was a great fit for Northland's concrete and blacktop teams. The finished concrete looks great and adds to the natural beauty of the site.
